Glór na nGael is produced by a team of volunteer broadcasters who share a passion for Irish music, language, and culture. We welcome expressions of interest from people who would like to become involved in the program.
New broadcasters begin by becoming members of the Irish Group at 3ZZZ and completing the station’s training program, which covers community radio principles, media law, interviewing, program preparation and studio operation.
After training, new volunteers gain experience working alongside existing broadcasters before gradually taking on a presenting role.
No previous radio experience is required – training and mentoring are provided. We welcome people with an interest in Irish music, language, storytelling or community life who would like to share these interests with listeners.
