The Pirate Queen

Mordialloc Light Opera Company (MLOC) is excited to present the Australian premiere of The Pirate Queen. From the creators of Les Misérables and Miss Saigon comes an epic musical celebrating the legendary heroic Irish Chieftain and pirate, Grace O’Malley.

From the MLOC website, “Based on the real-life story of Grace O’Malley, The Pirate Queen is an adventure chronicling the compelling, inspiring heroine who led an extraordinary life as a rogue, lover and mother in 16th century Ireland. To protect her people and save her one true love, O’Malley must confront the one woman more powerful than her — her fierce rival, Queen Elizabeth I of England.”

The show runs from 11th – 19th July at the Frankston Arts Centre, Davey St, in Frankston.

Tickets are currently on sale and going fast! Prices range from $40 for children to $50 for full price, and are available at the Frankston Arts Centre website: artscentre.frankston.vic.gov.au.
