Local Irish group The Counsel will be playing tomorrow a ernoon,

Sunday 17th August at Shotkickers, 744 High St. Thornbury. The group

features a few Comhaltas tutors.

“With commanding voices, four-part harmonies and enough

instruments to sink a ship, Brigid & Hilary Glaisher, Kate Boylan and

Emma Lewis are The Counsel. Bringing you tradional Irish tunes and

songs that span hundreds of years of folk history, they invite you to

come and seek their counsel.”

Tickets are $23.45 and are available at the door, but can also be

purchased ahead of time at the Shotkickers website.

Doors open at 2:30 p.m.
